We are are an accredited member of the Profibus UK User Group who are the regional representatives of Profibus International. This accreditation is dependent upon us ensuring that we only provide this service with Engineers that have Certified Profibus Installer and Engineer status as accredited by Manchester Metropolitan University and supported by Profibus International. 
 
We offer a site-based Profibus Support service to organisations that have systems based upon Profibus-DP or Profibus-PA technology from any manufacturer. Although Profibus is a well-established technology, identifying probelms that appear over time can be difficult without the appropriate tools. You could purchase these tools yourself, but if they are not used on a regular basis then people tend to forget how to use them and interpret the data being presented to them.

These are just a few of the issues that can cause a degradation of performance over time. We can identify these issues and provide solutions to get your system working correctly.

 
Using industry-standard, software-based tools, we can analyse the status of your DP or PA networks and in doing so highlight issues for immediate attention or identify future opportunities. These checks also permit the base lining of a system for future reference which can dramatically reduce the time taken to determine the fault. Profibus network checks can be carried out with or without the plant online although the network must be operational. Our practical experience with the configuration of a wide range of control systems allows us to extend the fault finding beyond the network infrastructure to that of the programmable system itself.
